The Feast Of Passover

Passover Feast At The Age Of 12 Years

First Passover

The Passover of the Israelites was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. John 2:13

Some versions of the bible stated that this Passover Feast was the first attended by Jesus. That was not the first Passover Feast that Jesus attended. Jesus was attending Passover in heaven, before He came to the world. And while He was a child, He was attending Passover with the parents, every year with Joseph and Mary.

Humanity should ask the bible authors was that the first Passover in the life of Jesus?

Or, … was that the first Passover He attended in the world?

In heaven, the Feast of Passover was already being celebrated. All the Seven Annual Festivals of God, as written in Leviticus 23, which festivals Jesus attended, did not start here on earth. The have been the celebration in heaven, before God the Father introduced them in the world.

Several Times

Jesus attended the Feast of Passover, several times.

Jesus Attended The Feast Of Passover

This event took place after the death and resurrection of Laz′arus.

Now the Passover of the Israelites was at hand, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.  They were looking for Jesus and saying to one another as they stood in the temple, “What do you think? That He will not come to the feast?”  Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he should let them know, so that they might arrest Him. John 11:55-57

The Plot To Kill Lazarus

When the great crowd of the Israelites learned that Jesus was there, they came, not only on account of Jesus but also to see Laz′arus, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.  So the chief priests planned to put Laz′arus also to death, because on account of him many of the Israelites were going away and believing in Jesus. John 12:9-11

Some Greeks Wish To See Jesus

Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus."

Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruits. He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.  If any one serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; if any one serves me, the Father will honour him – God does not belittle anyone. John 12:20-26

The Fruitful Grain of Wheat

1.     Jesus is the resurrection and life.

2.     Jesus laid down His life by crucifixion and took it up again by His resurrection.

3.     He gives everlasting life to whomever that believes in Him and accepts the salvation, which is offered free to humanity.

4.     Death is not the end of life, and birth is not the beginning of life.

5.     The earth is God’s own school. You enter it by birth, leave it at death and come back to it through reincarnation.

6.     The grain of wheat died when Jesus was crucified, and it bore much fruits when Jesus resurrected.

7.     By His death and blood, Jesus redeemed the souls of humanity for God. This is salvation.

8.     In the parable, Jesus made it clear that without His crucifixion, death and resurrection, salvation of humanity is not possible.

9.     Everybody has to sacrifice, by working for God and humanity, in order to reap many benefits.

10.             By the statement, “He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life,” Jesus shows humanity the necessity of investment. You gain much by rendering selfless services to both God and humanity. “In serving others is your success and prosperity,” says the God Almighty.

Jesus Speaks About His Death

“Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, for this purpose I have come to this hour.  Father, glorify thy name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”  The crowd standing by heard it and said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”

Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not for mine.  Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out;  and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”  He said this to show by what death He was to die.

The crowd answered Him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?”  Jesus said to them, “The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, lest the darkness overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.  While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” John 12:27-36

Jesus made it clear to them that Himself is the Christ, the Lord and Saviour.

All those who believe in Him, obey Him and do the will of God get salvation, even so with ease. But those who do not believe in Jesus find it hard to enter heaven, because they follow the wrong ways and because their religious leaders do not know the way or the destination.

The Unbelief Of The People

When Jesus had said this, He departed and hid Himself from them.  Though He had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in Him;  it was that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

“Lord, who has believed our report,

and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

Therefore they could not believe. For Isaiah again said,

“Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,

And seeing you will see and not perceive;

For the hearts of this people have grown dull.

Their ears are hard of hearing,

And their eyes they have closed,

Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,

Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,

So that I should heal them.”

Matthew 13:14,15

Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke of Him.  Nevertheless many even of the authorities believed in Him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:  for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. John 12:36-43

1.     It was not God not blinded the spiritual eyes of the people.

2.     Majority do not even know that they have spiritual eyes, and are not doing anything to open their spiritual eyes.

3.     God did not harden the hearts of people. Instead, people choose to be disobedient and stubborn, because they love the earthly gains, and they refuse to seek for everlasting life and all its treasures and blessings.

Summary Of Jesus’ Teaching

And Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in me, believes not in an ordinary man but in God Almighty.  And he who sees me sees God Almighty, Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts, the creator of the heavens and the earth.  I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.  If any one hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.  He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.  For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has Himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak.  And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has bidden me.” John 12:44-50

Completion And Explanation Of The Triumphal Entry

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, what does that mean?

The Head:  It means that Jesus is the king of Israel, king of the world, world emperor and King of Kings.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, why did the bible authors not make it complete?

The Head: It is the much they understood that they wrote.

Apostle Matthew: Is this how they wrote it?

The Head: It is like this that they wrote it in the bible.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, is there any book that wrote this verse complete and correctly?

The Head: There is none.

Apostle Matthew: What of the one that is written, “God bless you”?

“Blessed be the king who comes in the name of the Lord.”?

The record is not complete. Son of man, what themselves supposed to write is this, because ourselves do pray with it. Son of man, it shall be written as follows:

“God bless Him who comes in the name of the Lord.

God bless Him who comes in the name of the Lord.

God bless Him who comes in the name of the Lord.

We have blessed Him in the name of the Lord.

He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.”

Apostle Matthew: So shall it be written. The record in the bible is not complete.

Who wrote it?

Chukwudi: It is said that it was John who wrote it, but nobody is sure of the person who wrote it.

The Head: So it was the bible authors that wrote it?

Apostle Matthew: No.

Who wrote this verse, because the bible authors said that it had been written before the coming of Jesus Christ?

The Head:  Ok. Ok. The record says that it had been prophesied about before. It may be Isaiah.

Apostle Matthew:  It was not Isaiah.

The Head: It was Isaiah that gave many prophecies about the coming of Jesus. Let the Lord make us to know.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, the person who prophesied about it is God the Father in heaven.

The Head:  It was King David that wrote about it.

Apostle Matthew: Yes.

The Head: In the psalms.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.

Psalm 118:26

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, this shows that ancient people were walking in spirit, more than these present and modern generations.

The Head: That is true.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, the Israelites,

Son of man, what did the Abagana people do?

The Head: They have not said or done anything.

The Twelve Apostles Admonishes Humanity For Not Recognizing The Lord And Saviour

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, when yourself, the man who saw God face to face, Raphael Okechukwu Nweze, attends occasions, how many times do people salute you?

The Head: There is none. When I come in, people do not know. And when I leave, they do not usually know. Even if I take the seat, to stay in their midst, they will give the microphone to other people to speak.

Apostle Matthew:  Themselves do not know that their conduct is everlasting condemnation.

Son of man, a person who meets the FirstSon of God, Jesus Christ, his Father, and does not know, the person, is he seeing or not?

The Head: He does not see.

Apostle Matthew: Is the person wise?

The Head: He is not a wise.

Apostle Matthew: A person who meets his Father without knowing it, is the child wise?

The Head: He is not wise.

Apostle Matthew: That is what the person is showing – it shows the person is not interested to know his Father, and he does not want to know his Father.

Son of man, it is not that the Israelites were holier than the present and modern generations. But it was efforts that the Israelites made. The Israelites were striving to do what God said, far more than the present and modern generation. That was why the Holy Spirit filled their hearts and many Israelites welcomed Jesus.

But the present and modern generations have Jesus in their midst, reincarnated as the man who saw God face to face, and they do not welcome Him. The present and modern generations are not making any efforts. Instead, they keep on saying:

“There is no Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is no longer present.

The Holy Spirit is not working in the way that it was working before.”

Yet, it is themselves that push the Holy Spirit away, due to various things which themselves do. They do count the Holy Spirit out. The Holy Spirit does not come in their midst

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, if yourself comes into a house to do work, and you are pushed out to the outside, is it still possible for you to do the work which you have come to do?

The Head: No.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, have you seen that it is humanity that tied themselves up in bondage. Themselves refuse to move forward and they refuse to move backward …

Does it mean that the Christians do not read the holy book?

The Head: They do read it. Those who read do not understand. And those who understand, do not do it.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, many a times, the reason why the Angels flog the children of God is not because themselves do not know.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: The reason is not because they do not know the truth.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: It is true that various religious leaders deceive humanity, but he children of God do not want to come out from the midst of the deceiving churches, ministries and fellowships.

What did John say?

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:24,25

Apostle Matthew: Have you seen why many children of God are in bondage, who have being deceived?

Son of man, do they have love in God whom they worship?

Among themselves?

In the church?

Is there love?

The Head: Lord, they do not know what love is.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man ... Themselves do not use love in worshipping God – they do not have love among themselves, Son of man, if they have love in worshipping God the Father, the Holy Spirit would have told them to leave their places of worship – to leave all the numerous churches, ministries and fellowships, which are the gateways into the hellfire, and return to the everlasting covenant of God.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: The Holy Spirit would have told them this place is not the right place – not a true church, ministry or fellowship. This is the place where myself is present, DivineBase Ministry. Son of man, themselves do not use love, themselves do not use the truth in worshipping God – they do not worship God in love and truth.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: Themselves make all things to be hard. They make things to be harder and worse.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: Is there any of them who has seen God the Father more than …you?

The Head: There is none. If at all there is, they must be very very few.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, have you seen what happened, why God the Father keeps quiet… and if they are forced to come here, they shall come here with the same bad spirit, without love and sincerity.

The Head: That is true.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, it is because themselves are so blind and ignorant, themselves do not know how to worship God the Father in spirit.

Power Tussle

The Pharisees then said to one another, “You see that you can do nothing; look, the world has gone after him.” John 12:19

This statement of the Pharisees shows humanity the true reasons why the government and leaders oppose those who say the truth. The Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes, as well as the individuals in the positions of authorities, are afraid of losing their public honours and respect. They are afraid of losing their thrones. They are afraid of losing their earthly gains, which they derive from the throne. But the Holy Spirit is asking them, “What is public honour and respect that you should oppose the truth and mislead many into the hell fire?

And what is earthly gains, compared to the treasures and pleasures of heaven, that you should gain the whole world and lose your soul, in everlasting torments?”

The Same God Almighty

Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” John 12:28

The voice from heaven simply means, “Yes, you are God Almighty, and I will restore it again when you complete your work on earth, God Almighty had to step Himself down to the level of man, to appear in the midst of humanity, and can also step Himself up back to His original self as the same God Almighty.”

The Purpose Of The Saviour

Jesus said to them, “The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, lest the darkness overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.  While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” John 12:35,36

The Lord and Saviour shows humanity  the way to live, the way to worship God and the way to return to their home, which is the kingdom of heaven, from where they came to this world. All those who believe in Jesus and follow Him by doing what He says find the easy and short way to heaven. But all others who reject Jesus and His teachings suffer many trials, hardship and sufferings, because they have no one to guide them.

The Judge

He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. John 12:48

The word of Jesus means the teachings and laws taught by Jesus, including the laws and the prophets. The same word is the judge, because only those who obey the word shall inherit the kingdom of heaven.
